Remote Desktop (VNC) does not update VNC Client

If your VNC client would connect ok and appear to take input from the remote server, but the screen would never update or refresh on the client correctly. Do the following to fix it :
Disable visual effects :

Open System → Preferences → Appearance → Visual Effects |

Select No effects to disable visual effects. |
