Enable Telnet on Windows

By default Windows 7 or Windows Vista has not Telnet enabled for security reason. To Enable telnet you need to follow the below steps :

1. Click�Start
2. Click Control Panel
3. Click Programs
4. Click Programs and Features
5. Click on the left side on Turn Windows features on or off
6. On Windows Features screen select the checkbox correponding to Telnet (Client or Server)
7. Click on OK to validate

You should be able to use telnet as a client or server depending on the features you have enabled
